How would it start?

The start will always be the same. See below for more.

The script will start with a menu screen at the beginning. Here are the steps for the menu screen, in order as the steps will appear to the player. Starting with the ‘new game’ option:

1. Choose ‘new game’ or ‘start game’ (depends on if the player already had a saved file) and allows the main menu of the game to begin. Step one for the main menu will appear.

2. Next is choosing a region (from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh to Kalos, Alola, Unova, Galar and many other regions that are yet to be discovered) the player will select one.

3. This will make the player home to be on the screen, which is default by what region the player has selected, for example in Kanto its Pallet Town and in Johto it's New Bark Town, and so on and so forth.

4. Now the Pokemon professor from the region that the player has selected as their home-region will appear on the screen.

5. A more detailed location update could become available later one, which could have the player picking a town or city in the region to be their hometown.

6. The professor will say ‘Hi there, I’m professor [insert name depending on the region, which the player has selected] the Pokemon professor of this region. Before we continue there are a few formalities we need to fill out.’ this will bring the player to the form or document that will appear on the screen.

7. The player will need to fill out the following.

8. Choose a gender, male (Sola) or female (Luna).

9. Next is chosen an eye color, which will ask the player to choose their eye color of their avatar, options are gray, hazel, blue, brown or custom.

10. Choose hair color is next, the options are black, red, blonde, brown and custom, with it appearing in the description section

11. Choose a portfolio will make five skin tones (will be pale/fair, light, medium, tan, or dark/rich) appear with the player’s descriptions on each of them that the player can select

12. Now the player’s sprite/avatar will appear with the descriptions that the player selected on it along with the default clothes.

13. The player will now have to choose his/her name, the default names are Luna for the female and Sola for the male and the player’s sibling's name will default to Luna for female or to Sola for male.

14. The player will have to confirm his/her name by yes or no (will appear on the screen) before continuing.

15. The Pokemon professor from the region will say ‘I welcome you to the world of Pokemon’ and will appear once more unto the screen

16. A Pokemon will appear beside the professor from the region that the player had selected

17. The professor will say ‘Now that’s all out of the way. Here we go.’

18. The professor will send out a Pokemon from their region.

19. The Pokemon will appear outside the Pokeball with the professor behind it.

20. The professor will say, ‘This world is inhabited by mysterious creatures called Pokémon.’

21. The professor will show a gallery of photos around them, which will change depending on the region the player has to choose.

22. The screen will go back to the professor with the photos gone.

23. The professor will say ‘A world of dreams and adventures with Pokemon awaits!’

24. A door will open behind the professor.

25. The professor will say ‘What are you waiting for? Come to my lab.”

26. The light from the door will cover around the professor as the professor says ‘For your very own pokemon!’

27. The light will cover over the screen making it completely white.

28. The beginning menu will end with the player’s sprite or avatar appearing in the player's bedroom with a laptop or computer on a desk that the player is sitting at.

Each story will be different, there will be events that are unlockable as the player interacts with characters or places that are in each region. For example, as the player starts, they can go to the Pokemon center to register for the regions pokemon league or for Pokemon contests, pokemon breeder shows or pokemon showcases that are in the region, which will give the player an item for either one, with a badge case for the league, unless it's Alola then they get a crystal case instead, a ribbon case for contests, a princess key chain for princess keys from pokemon showcases and a medal case for breeder medals available at pokemon breeder shows. In this kind of game, the player can start with one of the four options, depending on what's available in each region. They can then start working on the goals for the challenge they have picked and can take on any of the challenges at any time.

Pokémon Story

[based on the Pokémon franchise. I am not saying that I own Pokémon. It's just an idea for a game]

The Idea: The player gets to make a story, similar to Ash Ketchup [from the main series anime], Red [from the origin series] and many other trainers in the Pokémon world have done. Most people like the Johto games [Gold, Silver, Crystal, SoulSilver and HeartGold] because you get to explore two regions. These two regions are Johto and Kanto. With that said, that's where Pokémon Story comes in to play. You get to decide on the story. From the region you start off in to what you do. But it's more than that, the story will be up to the player. Along with where they travel. Who their rivals are. And what their goals will be. It’s all optional and available for the player to unlock.

What is the main goal?

The main goal would be to have a custom adventure with your Pokémon. The game will have parts like past games, which will help you build friendships (in-game and outside the game).

How would it work?

The story will start with you filling out your trainer card. The trainer's card has always been what allows you to become a Pokémon trainer. The first question will be your name. Once your first name is picked, you can choose a last name or leave it blank. By leaving the last name blank, it will automatically be filled out. You will be asked your Date of Birth. Your Date of Birth will default be the date that you first started playing. If you want to put in a particular date, then you can. But you can't put in a past year. Some of the last questions will be appearance based. That will include selecting your gender, skin, eye, hair and other appearance details.

Once you have your appearance, selected, you can go on to the next part. The next part will be what region you are from. From there, you can select your hometown. The hometown can be anywhere in the region. If you pick a town without a professor laboratory, then you will have to make your way to the regional professor's laboratory. Once you've picked a hometown, you will be finished. Allowing the player to pick their hometown, will help them feel like a new story. Once you become a champion, or top coordinator or breeder, you can become popular in your hometown. This will also add tourism to the town or city that you decided to pick. People will want to see you and a parade will be done at your hometown or city. This will be a little extra touch.

Random will also be an option. The random option will be available for each step. This is just encase you can't think of what you want. Or if you've played the game before, and want to have a random experience.

After you've finished the trainer card, you will appear in the region you've picked. The region you've picked as your hometown or city, will be your starting point. The first region made will be Kanto, due to the region being the starting point of the franchise. This means, you will only be able to pick places in Kanto at first. But later on, you'll be able to pick any region and town or city that's available. Once your Trainer Card is filled out, you will wake up and it will be the next day. You will be in a relative's house, which you are staying with during your time in the region. You will be asked to come downstairs. In the envelope will be your trainer card. You will also have an invitation from the regional professor, which you can decide to go to and pick your starter Pokémon and receive a Pokedex. Once you go to the professor, you can pick your specialty. The specialty will be decided depending on the regional professor you've received an invitation from.

The regional professors specialities will be:

Professor Oak's specialty is Pokémon and human relationships.

Professor Elm's specialty is Pokémon breeding.

Professor Birch's specialty is Pokémon habitats.

Professor Rowan's specialty is Pokemon evolution and form changes.

Professor Juniper's specialty is the Origin of Pokemon.

Professor Sycamore's specialty is Mega Evolution.

Professor Kukui's specialty is pokemon moves.

Professor Sonia's specialty is Dynamax and Galar's History.

Professor Sada's specialty is Terastal phenomenon and Past Paradox Pokemon.

Professor Turo's specialty is Terastal phenomenon and Future Paradox Pokemon.

There will be other professors with other specialities. Some professors, like Professor Magnolia and Professor Laventon will be in their regions. Professor Laventon will be around 100 years or so in the past of Sinnoh. There will be an event with Celebi that will allow the player to go into the past. The player can't pick this time line to start off in, as this event is only accessible after you've obtained the Forest Guardian Pass. Or something like that. Pass's will be like expension passes that the player can purchase. By purchasing the pass, you will unlock special events.

There will also be other professor, who will come across the player. You can pick to study after them. And by finished tasks or missions and quests given out by them. Once you've helped with their research, they will award you. You can also find more regions and get most missions and reward for doing so.

There will be expension passes for each region. This will unlock more events and more story for the player. A game like this, has the potential to go on forever. With more expensions being available and more pokemon added as time goes on. If space becomes a problem, then updates and patches can be made to help out.

Exploring the region's opportunities and challenges along the way. They will also affect the game in good and bad ways. Meaning, they can make the game less or more challenging.

Awaking in the region, your story will begin to unfold. Once you've started, you can go to explore any event. There will be all kinds of challenges to choose from. The three main challenges, once the player has a pokemon, will be able to be decided in the first pokemon center the player walks into. In any pokemon center, the player can register for the pokemon league, pokemon coordinator contests and much more. The registration area will be on the left side of the Nurse Joy desk. Nurse Joy will walk up to the left side and offer to help the player with registering for any of the options, which the region has to offer. The player will need to pass over the Pokedex for Nurse Joy to register them. The Nurse Joy will give the player equipment needed to collect badges [a badge case], ribbons [a ribbon case], keys [a key ring] and so on after registration is completed.

Some events will need the player to unlock a challenge to trigger particular characters and events. In other words, if the player took the league challenge. Then the player would need to go around the region, and collect eight badges. Or if the player decided to take on the coordinator challenge. Then the top coordinator journey challenge will become available and ribbons will be required for some event to become unlocked.

A journey will take the player from the beginning part of the region. The region will become harder and more of a challenge. And then from the journey, the player will go on to have an option to explore another region. But only once their journey challenge has been completed.

In other words, stage one is complete a challenge. Then a journey will unfold. And a quest will get completed, as the last stage.

Once the player has decided which ones to take on. The player can go on forwards into part of the Pokémon region, which was not unlocked before. If the player decided to take on an adventure. They are some smaller goals that only add to the player’s story, which the player can also add. These goals can make smaller events happen in the player’s story. And are additions to the original story.

Now, the main story for the player will make the player able to explore the region. The player's character will be searching for his/her father, Professor Linden. The player's mother will contact other pokemon professors all over the world. They'll be willing to help the player with their search for their father. Professor Linden will be researching how pokemon evolves by particular locations, and what those locations have that make the pokemon able to evolves. The player will be on the search for those locations to obtain information, which is left behind by the player's father. This way, if a new evolution method by a particular location is released. Then the player will need to go there to get some answers on their father, Professor Linden.

The player will start in one region, such as Kanto. Then the player can head to another region, once the player has completed a challenge. The challenge can either be badges or ribbons or capturing all the pokemon in the region or something similar. A challenge can even be taking pictures of pokemon as well. To go to another region, the player will get a ticket from the player's relative, whose in the region. As a reward for finishing the challenge.

Once the player has completed the challenge. The player will be able to use the ticket. The ticket will allow the player to leave the region and go to another one. To go from one region to another, a ticket will be required. These tickets will unlock ships, airplanes, and trains for the player to travel.

Once the player goes to a new region. The player can leave at any time, to a region that they have a ticket for. If the player wants to go to a new region, they will need to complete a challenge in a region they have not visited before. This will unlock a new ticket of the player's choosing, which will go to a region the player hasn't been to before. Then the professor of the region will give the player hints to where they think his/her father might have visited.

Some parts of the region will be unlocked by particular events being completed.

The player can also unlock other regions, characters and hidden story options by downloadable content. This will make new Pokemon, new characters, new story options, and new regions become accessible to the player. This is one way they can have the player go from all kinds of regions and make the story options endless for the player. Just a simple download of content and more options will become available. And this content won't normally be available.

On to the bad and good events. Bad and good events will involve the evil team in each of the regions, along with the region's police as well. The player can help the police go into the evil teams in the region. The player can help give information to the police. They can help shut down the police. It's a way for the player to still be the hero. But also see inside the evil team, like many Pokemon fans have been wishing for. [Could happen, but might not - The bad events are if the player really wants to be an evil team member. They can go out and steal rare pokemon, capture rare ones, and bring them back to the leaders to research on them.]

More will come as the events in each region are put together. What they'll unlock in-game, for the player can be endless.
